About Tomnauld Farm
Tucked into 10 acres of Highland Perthshire hillside with mountains framing the horizon, this family-run glampsite offers a handful of fully-furnished bell tents for those who'd rather skip the pitching. Each comes kitted out with barbecue, woodburning stove, firepit and indoor-outdoor seating, so you can cook alfresco or huddle round the flames after a day exploring the nearby trails and lochs. A small communal kitchen provides fridge space for breakfast supplies and meat for the grill.
Families love meeting the resident pygmy goats, miniature Shetland pony and flock of friendly chickens, while dogs get their own agility course and woodland walks. There's even a 'stay and play' service if you fancy whitewater rafting or a distillery tasting without your four-legged friend in tow. When the weather turns, The Sheiling barn offers comfy sofas, a pool table, board games and table football.
Pitlochry's riverside theatre and Loch Faskally views are only 10 minutes' drive, and Blair Athol Distillery is equally close. With bike storage, accessible facilities and a warm welcome for all, it's a well-equipped base for a Highland escape.

What visitors say
I can only give 5 stars. The location is amazing, the views from the tents are spectacular. The tents are well positioned for privacy and very well equiped with everything you might need. I can only advise you stay for 2 nights, you'll want to spend more time there, I promise! Do book the farm feeding tour and the alpaca trek. It's great fun for the kids (and the adults!). And Hannah and David are so nice, really lovely people.

This place is honestly a total haven for those that want to escape the chaos of their day to day lives. Hannah and David are so lovely and kind and genuinely will do anything to make you feel comfortable. Marty the dog is an absolute delight and is anyone’s for the dog biscuits that they thoughtfully put in each tent. He knows exactly where they are and he is happy to give you that part of the tour. They have a wonderful indoor space with fridges and a comfortable area to sit and enjoy playing cards or pool. The tent itself is well kitted out and their online shop is really great if you don’t want to drag everything with you. Its log burner and heated mattress is great if there is a bit of a chill. I would give this place 6 out of 5 if I could Thanks again for a lovely stay! See you again soon!
