This single-bedroom shepherds hut sleeps two and welcomes one pet at no extra cost, set on the Atholl Estates in the Tulliemet valley with private parking and nothing but countryside around you. The open-plan interior has a woodburner, a kitchen with electric cooking, and a bedroom with a kingsize bed. Underfloor heating and all essentials—electricity, bed linen, towels—are included.

The real draw is being outdoors. A firepit surrounded by seating, garden furniture and hammocks occupy the grounds, and walking trails start from the door. The Cairngorms National Park lies within reach. Wildlife here includes osprey, golden eagles, deer and beavers; at night, the sky is properly dark. The hut has four steps to the entrance and steps within the grounds. Water comes from a borehole on the property. Smoking is not permitted.
