About Scotlands Hotel & Leisure Club
A warm indoor swimming pool is one of the highlights at Scotlands Hotel & Leisure Club, a 72-room hotel on Bonnethill Road in Pitlochry. The leisure club also includes a gym and a spa with sauna, giving guests somewhere to unwind after a day out in Perth and Kinross, though the spa areas don't always get the upkeep they deserve.
Rooms come with air conditioning, free WiFi and drinks available in-room, and are generally kept clean and comfortable, though standards can vary between rooms. Breakfast offers a good range of options each morning, and the on-site restaurant and bar cover meals and drinks without needing to leave the building. Staff are consistently helpful, and facilities extend to a lift, laundry service, luggage storage and free on-site parking, making it a practical base for longer stays.
The hotel also handles business needs with meeting rooms and business services, and it doubles as a wedding venue with its garden space. Pitlochry Golf Course is close by for those wanting a round during their stay, with the wider town within easy reach for exploring on foot.

What guests say
I would say this a solid place to stay if you are in the area. The location is fantastic. Most of the clientele seem to be pretty old. The place is a bit of a maze - but it also has a lot of charm. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was busy, but decent. Pool area was ok - you get what you pay for - but we enjoyed it. Parking was easy - but do make sure you register at check-in. Check-in was a bit slow for us, check-in also seems to have to man the bar for the lobby. We liked it, but if we were in the area again - we might look around.

I enjoyed my stay and I think some of the reviews are a little harsh. It is a little tired in places but the important things were there. My room was good, the bed comfortable. The biscuits a nice treat when many places are skipping these now. The Nespresso machine was great as I can't stand instant coffee. The bathroom was recently refurbished. The included leisure facilities were fine. The pool was actually warm when many hotel pools I find just too cold to enjoy. It is lacking a sauna which was a disappointment as that is a key reason for booking a spa hotel for me - I'm sure they used to have one and there's a door where it once was so clearly they've decided to stop using it...? Other than that I find it hard to fault the place and it's in a great location. 4/5 for the loss of the sauna.

Don't be put off by a weirdly low Google review score . I was gifted a voucher to stay here and came with no awareness of the hotel or it's reviews. It's absolutely a perfect hotel for a short stay and it's nicely refurbished across the hotel and rooms. Nice and bright reception bar area, friendly staff and a nice welcome. The room we had was a double, cosy and modern decor. Bathroom was very big again refurbished with nice bright modern tiling etc. Really impressed and a comfortable quiet sleep. Smart TV and Nespresso coffee machine. Hotel is very well placed in pitlochry, gorgeous little place to visit. Hotel was a pleasure to visit really good staff and we will return.

I didn't book this hotel, and I went with extremely low expectations after reading the reviews. I'm not sure if it's worth the money as I m not sure how much was paid. But our room with double bed really wasn't shabby at all. Our bathroom came with a bathtub too. I went to my friend s room who has a single bed, much smaller room and a tight bathroom. The only drawback, it was very stuffy and quite warm, despite leaving the windows as open as we could, at 15c at night during summer. Only 1 elevator was working properly and seems like the other one has been down for a long time based on other reviews here. Juzucci also wasnt working too.
