About ibis Plymouth
Ibis Plymouth is based at Marsh Mills, a practical spot for getting out and about in the city and beyond. From here it's straightforward to head into central Plymouth to explore the harbourside Barbican, the waterfront Hoe, and the shops and attractions of the city centre, while the surrounding Devon countryside and coastline are within easy reach for a day trip by car.
The hotel itself keeps things simple with 52 rooms, including accessible options, and drinks available in-room. Breakfast is served on site, alongside a restaurant, snack bar and bar offering food through the day, with kids' meals catered for and outdoor seating in the garden when the weather allows.
Parking is available on site for a fee, and there's an electric vehicle charge point for those driving in. Pets are welcome, and luggage storage is on hand for early arrivals or late departures. It's a straightforward, no-frills base for exploring Plymouth and the wider region rather than a destination in itself.

Booked one night as we were visiting an exhibition in Plymouth. Very pleased all round, easy, safe parking, spotlessly clean, staff all pleasant and helpful. The food menu was basic but perfectly acceptable. Breakfast buffet was good quality, but no tomatoes nor mushrooms. The heater in our room was very quick to heat. Lots of hot water. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Check-in was easy and we were welcomed by friendly staff. The room was clean and comfortable. There was plenty of parking. Good breakfast and nice to have food available after a long journey without going out to find it.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent stay – highly recommended I had a really lovely stay at the Ibis Plymouth and was impressed throughout. The reception staff, Tracy and Sam, were outstanding — extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating from start to finish. Their professionalism and warmth made the stay especially pleasant. The chef also deserves a special mention. The food was much better than your average hotel food, well prepared, and enjoyable. The room was excellent: modern, clean, stylish, and comfortably warm. The bed was very comfortable with clean, modern bedding, and the room was well designed with good lighting, a proper desk, a kettle with tea and coffee, and a nice wardrobe with shelving. The shower had great water pressure, and the blackout curtains and ambient window treatments were a welcome touch. I also appreciated the security lock on the window, which allows fresh air while feeling safe. The inclusion of a recycling bin was another thoughtful detail. Housekeeping were efficient, accommodating, and clearly take pride in maintaining high standards. Overall, this is a excellently well-run hotel offering outstanding comfort, warmth, and excellent service. I would definitely stay again and would happily recommend it to others. Thank you everyone!
