About Premier Inn Plymouth East
Dartmoor National Park lies within driving distance for anyone after moorland walks or a change of scenery, while Plymouth city centre is close enough for a day exploring the waterfront and harbour. Locally there's also a golf course, fishing, horse riding and entertainment nearby, plus a handful of pubs and restaurants within easy reach, making Premier Inn Plymouth East a sensible base for mixing coast, countryside and city.
The hotel has 81 rooms across two floors, including family and accessible options, all with en-suite bathrooms and drinks available in room. Rooms are consistently described as clean and modern, with comfortable beds and good soundproofing, so noise from neighbouring rooms or the road isn't an issue. A restaurant and bar operate on site, and breakfast is available to set guests up for a day out.
Staff are noted for being friendly and helpful, and the free on-site parking at the front of the hotel adds real value, though drivers do need to register their vehicle with reception to validate it. One point worth knowing is that some guests have found the vehicle access to the car park a bit tricky, so it pays to take care when arriving. There's also an electric vehicle charge point and 24 hour reception for those coming and going at odd hours.

Even though, it's been almost 3 months since my stay at this lovely hotel, despite busy schedules I felt it was necessary to find time to commend the staff of this hotel. Tash was especially very helpful. I can't thank her enough for her help. We had a car accident just on exiting the hotel on the large somewhat confusing roundabout. Tash was very supportive and understanding, gave suggestions of car recovery services, and offer support to my kids and gave them some books to read to keep them engaged. Thanks once again Tash and your team

Great stay here with family, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and went above and beyond to sort a new room out when the wrong one had been allocated. Beds very comfortable, the room was quiet and above the usual high standard. Excellent breakfast too. Thank you.

We’ve stayed at this Premier Inn many times, and it never disappoints. I want to give an extra special mention to Cassidy, who consistently goes above and beyond to make each visit smooth and comfortable, quickly resolving any issues with care and efficiency. The hotel is clean and well-maintained, and we especially appreciate how neurodivergent-friendly and understanding the staff are. It’s this level of thoughtful service that keeps us coming back.

I am not one to leave reviews but I felt compelled to for this hotel. I was booked as a business guest by my company and had a Premier plus room which was perfect. Kerry checked me in and she made me feel really welcome. The room was on the first floor but only one flight of stairs & kerry helped me with my bags. The coffee was lovely and i was provided with more pods when I asked. The chocolates and water was a pleasant treat too, again replenished when I asked. This is one of the main reasons I have chosen to review because of the customer service provided to me by Kerry, what an asset to the company. I ended up chatting with her about how pleasant she was and how she made me really feel like I was a 5 star guest, This conversation was around 10.30pm and she was still as happy and polite as she was at check in at 3.30pm. I didn’t eat at the restaurant as i had a reservation elsewhere but the offer was there to make reservations if needed. The location for me is a little bit of an issue only because I like to have options to explore and see the area but I would return because of the customer service provided.
