Cefnbrith Carriage
Powys
Cefnbrith Carriage is a one-bedroom converted goods wagon from the old Cambrian Railway, now positioned at the foot of Cwm yr Anel forestry in the Carno valley. The single living space contains everything needed for a self-catering break: a double bed, shower room, kitchenette with electric oven and hob, and a sitting area with large windows framing the surrounding hills. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included, and electric heating keeps you warm through the year. Parking for two cars is on site.
Outside, a private patio garden comes with furniture, a hot tub for two, and a fire pit. The kitchen is properly fitted for cooking, though the owners also allow guests to bring disposable barbecues if preferred. The village of Carno has a shop for supplies, and The Aleppo Merchant Inn serves food and drink nearby. Machynlleth and Newtown—both with markets and independent traders—are short drives away, while Hafren Forest and Elan Valley Reservoirs offer walking and cycling. This is a no-smoking property that sleeps two people.
