Cerniog Cabin

Cerniog Cabin suits couples or a couple with a young child seeking quiet time away. This single-bedroom cabin sits high above the Carno Valley in mid-Wales, offering one kingsize bed plus a sofa bed suitable for a child. Everything is on the ground floor: an open-plan living space with a DAB radio (no television), a kitchen with an electric oven and hob for cooking proper meals, a shower room, and direct access to your own decking area. Electricity, bed linen, towels and WiFi are included; the cabin is non-smoking.

The private hot tub on the decking takes advantage of the panoramic views and star-gazing opportunities the location offers. A lawned garden with patio and seating extends the living space outdoors, and there is parking for two cars on site. Three miles down the valley lies Carno village with a shop and pub; Machynlleth and Newtown are a short drive away with markets, independent shops, galleries and restaurants. Within an hour you can reach the Elan Valley Reservoirs, Hafren Forest for walking and cycling, Dolgellau and Cadair Idris in Southern Snowdonia, the Coed Y Brenin mountain bike trails, or the coast at Barmouth.
