Coed y Pentre is fully equipped for a week away without needing to bring much beyond clothes and toiletries. The kitchen has an electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher and wine cooler; heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. A washing machine and tumble dryer mean you can pack light. One well-behaved dog stays free. The property sits elevated in rural farmland near Carno, with views across the surrounding countryside and a private hot tub on the back patio that holds six.

Ground floor holds an open-plan living space with Freeview Smart TV, dining area and kitchen, plus two bedrooms—one with a kingsize and ensuite shower, the other with a zip-and-link kingsize that can split into two singles. Upstairs, a further sitting area opens onto two more bedrooms: one with two single beds, one with a super kingsize and its own ensuite with both bath and shower. A third bathroom serves the ground floor. You have private parking for four cars and the whole place to yourself. No smoking indoors.

Walking, cycling and birdwatching start from your door. Clywedog Reservoir and Powis Castle are within reach, and the Elan Valley, Lake Vyrnwy and Plymlimon Hills lie within a short drive. Newtown and Llandrindod Wells both offer shops, restaurants and bars, and the coast is roughly an hour away. The property works well as a base for the Royal Welsh Show when it's held at Llanelwedd.
