Coity Bach - Ty Nofio
Powys
Coity Bach – Ty Nofio works well for small groups or families wanting a memorable break with a difference. The single bedroom contains two double beds, while downstairs has sofa beds that sleep two more. The ground floor is largely open-plan, with kitchen and dining flowing into the space where the 17m heated swimming pool sits – a genuine luxury for a self-catering stay. A walk-in shower and separate toilet complete that level. Spiral stairs lead to the first-floor bedroom, which also has a smart TV. The property stands alone with parking for three cars and direct access to walks on the Usk Valley Trail, with views across to Sugar Loaf mountain.
Electricity, bed linen and towels are included. Outside, a patio area has garden furniture, a firepit and barbecue. The 34-acre farm setting puts you in the Brecon Beacons National Park, designated an International Dark Sky Reserve – valuable if you're interested in stargazing. Talybont-on-Usk village, a short distance away, has a shop, café, bike hire and pubs serving food. Brecon itself is roughly five miles towards the canal, with museums, a cathedral, and plenty of restaurants and galleries. The property does have open spiral stairs, which is worth noting if mobility is a concern. No smoking throughout.
