Kite 2 is a single-storey cottage on a 3-acre estate in a secluded valley, eight miles from Builth Wells. The grounds include woodlands, a fishing lake, a children's play area, and a heated indoor swimming pool shared with the other properties on site. The cottage itself is compact: one bedroom with a king-size bed, a sofa bed in the open-plan living space, and a bathroom with a bath and shower over. The kitchen has an electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave and fridge, so you can cook properly. Essentials like bed linen, towels, electricity and Wi-Fi are included.
The setting suits families and those after a quiet countryside break. On the grounds you'll find a games room with a console and TV, a tennis court, and fishing (a licence is required). The surrounding area is known for red kites and other wildlife. Builth Wells itself is five miles away for shops; pubs and restaurants are eight miles off. The cottage is no-smoking. Two cars can park on site, and there is a cot available if needed.

Beautiful place - I come back here every year as it is so beautiful and peaceful. Emma and Amy are very welcoming. Everything is very tidy and clean and I enjoy the walks and swimming in the pool. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We had an amazing time at the cottages, such a good relax and in such a stunning location. You can just sit for hours and watch the cows and sheep in the hills or the birds flying around the pond and trees. We will definitely be visiting again that's for sure. 👌 The pool was really warm and the sauna was a nice touch. The rooms were lovely and really clean and well presented. The one and only negative thing was our DVD player did not work in the cottage but you didn't really need it with the amazing scenery and included Freeview. 😊

Fab gem - A great stay here at Lake cottages we had the robin Studio cottage and it was perfect. Everything you need for a self catering break was supplied. The cottage was clean. The bed comfortable. The location is absolutely amazing the surroundings breathtaking a wonderful break with family. We enjoyed using the fire pit and toasted our marshmallows of a evening and having breakfast outside with the hillside views priceless absolutely fab place to stay I would give 10 stars so as you can see I highly recommend it🤗 there was only one tiny criticism the games Room was slightly disappointing. I was told they were things missing , IE pool table balls & couple of other things . But this is my only criticism. There was no one on reception when we discovered this and then had forgotten to mention it on our return the next day so maybe some member of staff can check the games room and it’s facilities Thankyou lake cottages we will return ☺️

We absolutely love coming here, it never fails to blow us away! The accommodation is always warm on arrival and immaculate. The views are good for the soul and the indoor pool and games room are an extra bonus. All the staff are warm and friendly. We can’t wait to book again for next year!
