Cwm Chwefru Cottages - Robin’s Retreat

Robin's Retreat is a one-bedroom barn conversion in a secluded valley near Builth Wells, equipped for self-catering with a kitchen (electric cooker, microwave, fridge), bathroom with bath and shower, and a living space with TV and DVD player. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. The cottage sleeps two in a kingsize bed and has its own enclosed garden; a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer is shared with other properties on-site.

The real draw is what lies beyond the cottage door. The 3-acre grounds contain woodlands, a children's play area, BBQ facilities and garden seating. There's an indoor heated swimming pool, a games room, and access to fishing (licence required) on the lake 100 yards away. The site holds enough to occupy a weekend without leaving: red kites and other wildlife to spot, fly and coarse fishing, or simply quieter corners for reading and sitting out. A pub and restaurant are 2 miles away; the nearest shop is 5 miles off. No smoking is permitted in the cottage.
