About Premier Inn Reading Caversham Bridge
Premier Inn Reading Caversham Bridge suits anyone who wants a straightforward, well-priced base for exploring Reading without worrying about parking or getting into town. With 75 rooms across three floors, it works equally well for an overnight stop en route elsewhere, a weekend by the river, or a stay geared around shopping and the town's restaurants.
Rooms are simple and modern, all en-suite, with some looking out over the Thames. Some guests have found them a little warm, so it's worth bearing in mind if you prefer a cooler room. Breakfast is cooked to order, and there's a restaurant and bar on site for evening meals and drinks, along with 24-hour reception and lift access. Free on-site parking is available, though spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, and there's an electric vehicle charge point for those who need one.
The location makes it easy to reach Reading Station and the Oracle Centre, and the riverside setting is good for a walk along the Thames. Cycling and walking routes are close by, along with pubs, restaurants and other eateries, plus golf, fishing and horse riding nearby for those wanting to venture a little further.
What guests say
We were delighted with the room. It was comfortable, spacious and had great views across the Thames. I enjoyed making real coffee rather than instant. There was a fridge, which was handy for keeping our food for the return journey fresh. We had been disappointed that by booking well in advance we had got a worse deal than by booking just a week before our visit, and I had let customer service know about this. However, without telling me, they had upgraded our room to a premier plus. This was a very kind and much appreciated gesture. Thank you. Staff were really helpful and friendly. They happily provided us with extra coffee capsules and showed me how to use the machine. The breakfast was first class. The buffet had a good selection of fruit, yogurt, bread and pastries, and the coffee was excellent. The cooked breakfast was made to our exact requirements and was very good and not at all greasy. Service was first class, friendly and efficient and our meal was prepared and served quickly. We had a lovely visit and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Stayed here several times. Rooms are always well presented staff are very helpful and friendly. The location is great for both Caversham and Reading, both walkable. The adjacent Toby Carvery is good if you don’t fancy venturing out in the evening. I’d definitely recommend and stay again.

Julia was outstanding, she is an absolute shining star who is exemplary, can't thank her enough! Would also really like to thank Valentina and Jagoda, both are absolutely amazing, exceptionally kind, helpful and friendly. Another star is Ausra, extremely kind, considerate, thoughtful and helpful. Tom was great as well, very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Finally, would very much like to thank the 2 hardest workers; Kasia and Marta. The wonderful staff at this Premier Inn are what make it very special, one of the best and worth returning to. Thank you very much

My relatives journeyed down from the north and were well looked after at Caversham Bridge. We joined them for breakfast after their night at the Premier Inn and we all thoroughly enjoyed it and found it to be excellent value. All members of staff were very friendly and helpful.
