Wookey Hole Caves

The cave is awesome and it is fascinating with the projection on rocks! My tour guide Tash was very humorous. While we were listening to her informative explanations about the caves, she always made jokes in between the explanations to make us laugh and awake 🤣 Highly recommended the tour 🤩 Also, the witch laboratory and 4D cinema was a good place to enjoy films and know more about the cave tunnel. The staff in this place were super nice!! There are also many playing areas for children. Overall, it is a good chilling place to enjoy the nature, learning about it and let children to play around😆

Amazing experience. Went as a group of 4 to the experience, which was so much more than just a cave exploration. They feature mini golf, a 4D dinosaur experience, a little arcade game area, mirror maze, etc. There's a lot to do here for the price. The cave tour featured someone guiding us around and explaining each section of the cave, featuring stories of a witch to roman remains being found, etc etc. The exploration is a great time, especially with the information they give you, especially with the special effects that display on the cave walls. There was also some high places in the cave, which featured a metal grate walkway, which if you have vertigo or acrophobia it may trigger, especially since you can easily see through the grates. One to to mention, which is not the cave's fault. There can be some very impatient people on the tour. We had parents, a larger man and a smaller woman who thought it was acceptable to push past people (including us) while where was a narrowing path over looking a drop near a lake in the cave. The woman did not want to wait and tried to push past with her kids and her partner tried to do the same later on, nearly pushing my partner over (baring in mind the cave can be slippery enough to fall over as it is). Again these were parents with little ones. Some selfish and entitled people out there that just clearly do not care for their or anyone else's safety. In any case it was a great time, took some great pictures and videos, had a go at the crazy golf, mirror maze, etc. Definitely recommend coming here. Great family fun and adventure all around with plenty to do.

Returning to Wookey Hole after over twenty years was a delightful experience. Visiting as a family with two and three-year-old granddaughters, we found that the site remains an excellent destination with a vast array of activities to keep all ages engaged. While I was unable to explore the caves personally this time, the rest of the family found them to be fantastic. For the younger children, the dinosaur area was a particular standout and provided plenty of excitement. The 4D cinema was great fun, and the circus performance was impressive. Huge credit goes to the young performers for their skill and energy. Though the audience was a bit quiet, we were certainly clapping enthusiastically from the back! It was wonderful to see the mirror maze still in situ, and the penny arcade remains a nostalgic and entertaining highlight. The staff in the restaurant deserve a special mention. The team consisted of young people who were exceptionally patient and helpful, which made the dining experience smooth and pleasant for a large family group. In terms of value, you receive a significant amount for your money. We spent a good portion of the day there, but had we not needed to travel home, we easily could have stayed until closing and still found plenty to do. A brilliant choice for a multi-generational trip. Whether you are revisiting after decades or seeing it for the first time, it is a well-managed and high-value attraction.

Absolutely brillant day out for all the family, the cave tour was fantastic, and the guide, liz, was both knowledgeable and fun the whole way through. The circus was pretty cool, as was penny arcade. There was plenty more to do there, like crazy golf, 4d cinema, and soft play, we actually didnt manage to see it all, so we are looking forward to returning.
