What visitors say

Alan Bell

Beautifully restored 15th century manor house situated in Pittencrieff Park, Dunfermline. This was once home to a museum but all exhibits have been moved to Dunfermline library in the last few years to be nearer the city centre. Although not accessible this building can still be appreciated from the outside among well tended gardens. Took my photos on a slate grey February day and found the rendering looked much darker than in warm Summer sunshine! Worth checking out.

I only came to the park as I had some time to kill and only walked past the house to take some photos so can’t comment about anything within or whether it is generally open to the public for visits.

A few small bits placed around the area but was closed when I visited and doesn't say much. It's more the setting and design as this is placed close to pavilion and main part of the park with gardens etc. Believe a lot of the exhibits were moved but a information board at the house would help.

Interesting to see, very nice and big park next to it and beautiful garden with greenhouse. Nice, enjoyable walk.
