Pond Cottage

Pond Cottage is a renovated barn on a working fruit and sheep farm in Rother, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and space for four guests. Everything you need for self-catering is provided: the kitchen has an electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Bed linen, towels and electricity are included, and a tumble dryer is available on request. The property sits on one level, with a double bedroom and ensuite shower, a twin bedroom, and a separate shower room. The living and dining area opens onto a lawned garden with a terrace and outdoor furniture. Private parking for two cars is on site, and there is a fenced pond within three yards of the property.

The countryside around here is designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Walking is accessible from the doorstep, with Bixley Woods about one and a half miles away and Flatopers Wood Nature Reserve a short drive further. Bodiam Castle is twenty minutes by car. Camber Sands, with its sand dune system, is nearby for a coastal day out. No smoking is permitted in the property. Children are welcome; travel cots and highchairs can be provided.
