Lovely little Aire close to various paces of interest. £10 voluntary donation to stop over in a van. Fresh water and toilet disposal available. Some shady spots under the trees.

Fantastic wee find in a cosy quiet corner surrounded by nature. Several spaces for motorhomes with fresh water and toilet waste right next to a beautiful nature reserve and just a short walk to Caerlavrock Castle itself which is a must see! There’s an honesty box for donations minimum £10 and it was worth it, no bins which encourages people to take their rubbish away to avoid excess rubbish. Kind caretaker collects the money regularly. Thank you for providing this great wee site.

Looked great on the site online but we pulled in, 8 motorhomes were parked anywhere, 3 together looked like it was party time, we paid just to get water and empty our loo but didn't stay. If the bays were marked out properly could be lovely, but a guy with a motorhome looked like he owned the place. Wasn't nice.

Lovely aire, secluded and spacious. Well looked after by the community and with a nice walk following the estuary past bird hides to the castle and cafe. Perfect stay.
