About The Wood Eldroth
Tucked into the Yorkshire Dales National Park near Settle, The Wood Eldroth offers thoughtfully designed bell tents with a decidedly luxurious edge. Each comes kitted out with a proper double bed, ambient lighting, plug sockets and storage inside, plus private decking outside complete with barbecue, fridge and washing-up sink for proper outdoor cooking. The real perks are the exclusive-use hot tub and complimentary infrared sauna – ideal for easing into Dales time after a day's walking.
It's a tiny, peaceful site with no through-traffic noise and spectacular scenery all around, though some guests note the facilities can feel a touch tired in places. Still, with Settle's shops and pubs just fifteen minutes away and miles of fell-walking on the doorstep, it strikes a fine balance between remote tranquillity and handy access to proper amenities.

Just returned from a 4 night stay at Fox Cottage. The views are fantastic and it is so peaceful and relaxing in the lovely countryside. The Sauna and hot tub are very welcome once you have been out walking or sightseeing and the lodge has everything you need. All the information you need for the appliances etc is emailed to you on the morning of your arrival so there is nothing to worry about. Can't wait till we book again.

We had a wonderful stay at Owl Cottage this weekend. The room was beautiful, very comfortable, and well looked after. The views were absolutely stunning , we were even lucky enough to see a rainbow over the countryside! Such a peaceful and relaxing place for a getaway. We’d definitely recommend Owl Cottage and would love to stay again

Serious complaint. My wife & I booked to stay in The Goose Nest. All looked lovely but started to unravel as we arrived. No greeting, confirmation of received comms even with a specific eta request from host. Arrived to a building site on entry and again near the accommodation. Toilet block inside 5* . Outside unfinished with screws, nails and drill bits in the gravel . Took 20 mins on arrival walking the gravel so I didn't get a puncture. Head up to the tent. Tent has mould markings on the canvas. Inside the tent electrics daisy chaining extension cords with no PAT testing evident. BBQ station not clean No bowls. No on site safety signage or guest book for info. Advertised to be able to use Sauna & ice baths. Both broken / inactive no reasons given. Biggest issue by far woke up this morning and my wife is covered in a rash. Went to the pharmacy Diagnosed with 'Spa Folliculitis' commonly found in poorly maintained hot tubs and spas. She now has a fussy rash from her knees to shoulders that could last 2 weeks. We packed up at 7am and left the keys in the toilet door where we found them. We have booked a hotel on route home instead to allow time for her to heal for the onward journey. So there is no mis understanding. My minimum expectations are as follows. Full refund on accommodation & additonal hotel booking . Loss of earnings covered for wife if the rash persists beyond Friday ( original end date of holiday) she earns £295 per day after taxes fyi. Property to be removed from all booking sites until fire safety measures are in place to ensure customer safety Regular testing, monitoring & recording of hot tub water quality Please respond to confirm email has been received and again once expectations are met
