I saved quite a bit by booking direct with the owners rather than going through an online site (the fees must be high). Great double room, just a short walk from town and the seafront. Very quiet which was just what I wanted and could come and go as I pleased. Excellent hosts.

Stayed here for 2 nights, clean and quiet room - no traffic noise on this residential road so we slept well. Good shower, great breakfast and helpful owner. Just 5 mins walk to the beach or town centre. Minor points: bathroom could do with some hooks to hang/place clothes (on top of loo lid was only option) and shower could do with a tray or dish to place shower gel (floor was only option). Apart from that, still 5 stars and we would recommend Highfield Guest House to our friends for sure.

A perfect base for a stay in Sheringham. 10 minutes from the town and beach. On street parking available in quiet location. We had a top floor room and it was lovely. Recently refurbished with new carpet and en-suite bathroom. The shower was amazing and had great pressure. All clean and quiet. Bed very comfy. The breakfast was good with a choice of cereals, fresh fruit and yogart. The full English breakfast was nice. I had the poached eggs with salmon on toast which was delicious. Several hot breakfast options were available to order the night before. The owners were very friendly and we'll certainly be back! Highly recommended.
