What diners say
Incredible food, great service! would recommend to sit at the bar and watch all the food get made. We had the steak tartare, flatbread with mussels, steak with bone marrow sauce, cod, artichokes and the sticky toffee pudding. Honestly cannot pick a favourite. All of the dishes were impeccable.

A flawless experience at this popular, unpretentious, boutique european bistro. Real table linen is a nice touch, which compliments well the personal service. No Champagne available by the glass, but the Cremant is more than good enough. Maybe not so good for large groups, but perfect for Date Nite.

Each dish was a standout!!! Definitely order the flatbread, steak tartare, and paté. We had the mussels flat bread but was told at the end (by one of the chefs) that the leek one is a must?! Next time!!! And oh my god, the pie was honestly so good! You really can't go wrong with any dish here. We paired everything with a bottle of white Chardonnay, which was also really tasty. The restaurant has a very romantic atmosphere and is dog-friendly. I definitely plan to come back soon! Love the bar seating, too.

we moved our lunch reservation forward and the staff were incredibly accommodating. it was our first time at bistro freddie and everything from food to service to atmosphere was honestly fantastic. the chicken pie was a generous portion and just the right size for the two of us. the highlight though had to be the lamb belly, sooo soft and the sauce wow! it was genuinely difficult to just choose one main to share as everything on the menu sounded amazing. would love to come back and try more next time. also to whoever handwrites the menu - your handwriting is the best handwriting i’ve ever seen.
