What diners say
I had such an incredible experience at this restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing — every dish was beautifully presented, full of flavor, and clearly made with so much care and attention to detail. It’s rare to find a place where every single bite surprises you in the best way possible. However, what truly made the evening unforgettable was Joseph my server . I was genuinely impressed by how attentive, warm, and thoughtful he was. He took such wonderful care of me from the moment I arrived until the very end of the night. It was a very special day for me Thank you Joseph for turning such an important day into a truly beautiful memory. I can’t wait to come back!

We chose Camino based on its strong Google rating (over 4 stars) and had expected a positive dining experience. The food quality was average relative to the price point, though the Black Rice stood out as the highlight of the meal—we even ordered it twice. Service could be improved. Despite having an early dinner with limited customers and making an advance booking that included a request for baby chairs, we encountered some difficulty upon arrival with two trolleys. The staff mentioned that trolley use had not been stated in the booking and were not particularly accommodating at first. We eventually managed by folding one trolley for storage and placing the other next to our table. If the restaurant requires advance notice about trolleys due to storage limitations, it may be helpful to communicate this more proactively to guests during the booking process.

We celebrated our friend’s 30th birthday which turned out to be a blast! It was around 30 of us, on a chilling Saturday afternoon, outstanding service and delicious food. Given I’m Spanish, and celiac, I gotta be picky judging its quality. To my surprise I found the Arroz Negro full of flavour, and the Tortilla de Patatas cooked perfectly, soft on the outside and a bit runny on the inside. However, the octopus was chewy and lacked of flavour, and would have expected the solomillo ibérico accompanied by whisky or Pedro Ximenez sauce. They have extra care handling cross contamination and plenty of choices to choose from, like Gambas al ajillo, which I recommend too.

Food was not good. Walked past and saw a “Paella for £15” special they were running, and I decided to try it for lunch. The “paella” they brought out was watery, tasteless, and the rice was hard. They baked it on a very thin sheet, which is not an authentic way of preparing paella that I’m aware of. The rice had a hard top layer that was very chewy and unpleasant. The waiter also seemed offended that I did not finish the food and insisted I take it home, even after I explained that I did not like it. Would not recommend this restaurant unfortunately.
