Came here for an easy and delicious lunch. Ramen is very filling and high quality, and the chicken karaage starter is always fresh (although you need to be hungry to have it as well as your ramen). The ice cream is also very unique - we tried the matcha, black sesame, and miso chocolate. Highly recommended if you are in the area!

Very nice restaurant to try Japan cuisine. Most of the menu has pork, so do read the menu before ordering. We tried Chicken Ramen, Octopus Balls with fish skin, Donburi - all of them tasted good. Ramen quantity is ideal for 2 persons. Dinner for 3 cost us approx. 60 GBP

There are ramen places where the broth is just there, and then there are ramen places where you find yourself shamelessly lifting the bowl for the last few sips. Shoryu firmly belongs in the second category. The broth is rich without being heavy, the noodles have that perfect fresh bite, and everything tastes like it’s been made properly rather than rushed—even though it arrives astonishingly fast. It’s the kind of place that reminds you why a simple bowl of ramen can be one of life’s greatest comforts. I’d also highly recommend recommend the wasabi sea salad and the ice teas The space is just as charming as the food too: rows of glowing lanterns, big windows for a spot of people-watching, and a cosy buzz that makes you want to linger long after you’ve finished. Whether you’re escaping a rainy London afternoon or grabbing a quick dinner before heading out again, it somehow manages to be both efficient and wonderfully inviting. Fresh, fast, deeply satisfying—and yes, I absolutely drank every last drop of the broth and don’t forget to order the matcha affogato, you won’t regret it I promise

Is my first time enjoy Japanese Ramen in UK, and SHORYU is the best choice!!! Me and my friend order a shoryu ganso tonkotsu and tsukemen, both are really good and the pork belly is brilliant, you should try it!!!!!!Also, you could choose the noodle firmness!! And you also should try the Matcha Affogato, is not bitter but still with a rich Matcha flavour. Staff is very friendly and nice, I feel comfortable and enjoy the environment.
