What visitors say
New Walnuts I see a lot of reviews, and there's a lot of untrue stuff on here, so to be clear: The staff are lovely. From reception, you have the two Chloes who always answer any of my questions with a great amount of energy. I always love that they know my name. The PTs here are amazing. I've done some sessions with Justice that I loved, but I've also done classes that are free with the memberships with people like Dean and Ella, who are some of my favorites, with so much passion and energy. Shout out to Yoga with Kevin; he is fantastic and very funny. The new gym is full of equipment, two machines for most things, with over two sets of dumbbells, 1 to 10, and an area with double of everything, 10 to I want to say 50. The swimming pool is amazing. The lifeguards are very respectful and don't let the teenagers mess around being stupid, but let everyone enjoy it, just not in a dangerous way. The sauna has fancy lights, and the steam room feels slightly small compared to previously. My only negative is I wish it shut at like 10 p.m. Overall, if you look at Virgin Active or David Lloyd, you're looking at £100+ easily for a swimming pool and gym. £50 is an amazing price for all the free classes, swimming, gym, and soon, hopefully, squash again.

Amazing new facilities. My children loved the softplay and ice-cream. The manager Katie took time to speak with us and my son who is autistic was nervous about the climbing frame and she reassured him how much fun he will have she even offered to go on with him as i have bad joints and can't go on! staff amazing would love to see fish fingers or chicken nuggets on the menu please.

I visited the new leisure centre yesterday, it’s fabulous. I joined as a member due to the pool as this is the only gym in Orpington with a pool and it did not disappoint, the showers and changing facilities are extremely clean and the staff are friendly. The changing rooms and showers are very spacious and they also have hair dryers to use free of charge after swimming. I would recommend going swimming here.

The refurbishment is very good and spotlessly clean. Warm pool with private shower cubicles at last! It has a good buzz there now. Gym is bigger than orpington puregym and has brand new equipment. Two large studios and popular classes. Good to see the large soft play is back. Just needs the squash courts painted.
