About Travelodge London City Airport
Silvertown, on the north bank of the Thames near London City Airport, is a practical base for flights in and out of the capital, with DLR connections making it straightforward to reach central London when time allows. Travelodge London City Airport sits within half a mile of the terminal, making it a convenient choice for early departures or late arrivals.
The hotel has 157 rooms spread across five floors, each with an en-suite bathroom and the option of drinks in the room. Accessible rooms are available, and a lift serves all floors. Reception operates around the clock, useful for guests on odd flight schedules, and breakfast can be taken on-site alongside the hotel's own restaurant and bar. Pets are welcome, and chargeable parking is available at the front of the building for those registering their vehicle with reception.
Beyond the airport link, there are further pubs, bars and restaurants nearby for guests who want to eat off-site. It's a straightforward, functional stay geared towards travellers rather than a destination in itself, with the DLR offering an easy way into the city for anyone with time to spare before or after a flight.
