Walter’s Cottage

Walter's Cottage is a detached bungalow on the ground floor, set among rolling countryside between Shepton Mallet and Wells. The whole property is yours alone, with space for four people across two bedrooms: one double and one twin. You get a family bathroom with bath and separate shower, plus a separate toilet. The open-plan living area has a woodburning stove, Freeview television and DVD player, with the kitchen alongside equipped for proper cooking and laundry. One well-behaved dog is welcome here.

The essentials are covered: electricity, heating oil, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included, along with fuel for the stove. Outside, a patio and garden are enclosed and furnished, with a barbecue for use. You have private parking for two cars on site. A cot and highchair are available if needed. Glastonbury's Abbey and Tor lie within reach, as do the shops and restaurants of Shepton Mallet three miles away. Wells Cathedral is about five miles distant. The Royal Bath & West Showground, which hosts events throughout the year, is also within three miles. Weston-super-Mare and Burnham-on-Sea beaches are roughly twenty miles away. A pub sits a mile down the road, and a local shop is two miles off.
