I had an absolutely fantastic experience at the Cambridge Country Club Restaurant! The food was nothing short of excellent – every dish was beautifully presented, full of flavour, and cooked to perfection. A special mention must go to Christian, whose service was truly exceptional. He was warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed from the moment we arrived. His professionalism and friendly attitude added a personal touch that really elevated the whole experience. The atmosphere of the restaurant was elegant and relaxing, with stunning surroundings that made the visit even more enjoyable. My partner had a long standing booking here, in Ramsey Lodge, for a birthday break later in the year. Today, she received an email cancelling it. The email states the accommodation is "no longer available" and "your stay in this accommodation cannot proceed". Her initials are SR if they want to confirm the truth of this review. Looking at the reviews, it's probably a blessing in disguise, but I want people to be aware that they regard bookings as something to be honoured or cancelled, at their discretion. Other reviews for this place show this isn't an isolated case.

We came here for a spa day and booked treatments, lunch and access to the pool facilities. The pool was very cold as there was heating issues on the day we went. As a result, the sauna was very busy and it was tricky to get a space. The lunch was very good and the massage was lovely. I appreciated staff taking time to ensure the products were allergy safe for me too!
