About Manor Farm

Tucked away on a privately-owned nature reserve in Cambridgeshire, Manor Farm offers a genuinely peaceful escape with just a handful of pitches. The highlight for many is the 1886 railway carriage tea room serving homemade cakes, afternoon teas and Sunday lunches – a charming spot to refuel after exploring the mile-long woodland walk that winds through the site's three woods and open grassy spaces. Wildlife watchers and dog owners are well catered for, with a dog exercise field available for hire and trails perfect for spotting local fauna.

It's worth noting facilities are fairly basic – there's a shower and toilet block but no hot water – so this suits campers happy to rough it a little in exchange for seclusion and scenery. King's Lynn market town is half an hour's drive, Sandringham Estate 40 minutes, and there's a pub conveniently next door. Fishing lakes lie within walking distance for keen anglers.

What a hidden gem! I visited today with my three siblings (aged 8 and 6) and my 1 year old daughter and they all had a fantastic time. This will definitely be a regular trip out from Cambridge. The food wasn’t too expensive, but very delicious, and the staff were friendly. The play area would suit under 5s best but my siblings still enjoyed it. The animals were very cute as well!! We had a great couple of hours here

We went for the antique and vintage fair that was on, it was very well organised. We were guided to our space in the car park and advised about the uneven ground, then it was very short walk to the barn with all the stands set up. Excellent looking location for a fair, the farm looks tidy and easy to navigate. On exit there were signs telling us which way to go, everything was very efficient.

Lovely food and great service. The staff are really friendly and there is great attention to detail. For example when kids are having lunch, grapes are cut to be safe and they always warn you if the kids drinks are a bit hot. There is nice seating inside and on a sunny day you can also sit outside. Children's toys to play with at the end, some outdoor play equipment too for sunny days, and you can always visit the goats and pigs by the side of the barn, opposite the butchers. Wish it was open on a Sunday. Very popular (especially Saturday afternoon when there is the afternoon tea option).

Was here for a friend's christening party. The barn is a nice venue, kept us dry and warm when the rain started, and it was fun to see all the animals on the hill behind us. New toilets are being installed and I hope to return to visit the new cafe when it's finished. There's also a shop to buy farm meat and other goodies. Nice little place.
