Dunstone Cottage is a converted barn at the end of a private lane on the southwestern slopes of Dartmoor National Park. Built from stone and thoughtfully updated, it sits alongside the owner's farmhouse, offering a complete property to yourselves—one bedroom, one bathroom, space for two guests and one dog.
Downstairs is open-plan: kitchen with electric oven, gas hob and Aga, dining area, and sitting room with Freeview TV. Upstairs, a bedroom with zip-and-link super king bed (can be split into singles if needed) and ensuite shower. The garden has a lawned area, patio with furniture, firepit and barbecue, plus a private two-person hot tub. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included; dogs stay free and come with welcome extras. You can park four cars on the property and store bikes there too.
The River Plym is a short walk away. Walking, cycling and riding trails crisscross the surrounding moorland; Cadover Bridge lies within reach on foot. The cottage suits couples seeking quiet countryside time, though children under 21 are not accommodated. No smoking indoors. The water supply comes from a tested bore hole.
