My first time staying at this hotel. It's accessed by a somewhat tight winding road, but you're rewarded when you arrive by a beautiful country house hotel overlooking an attached golf course. The reception staff at the time of my stay couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. My room (deluxe double) had a spa bath, four poster bed and bay window overlooking one of the greens. I had dinner at the hotel after a round of golf, and the food - unlike my score - was outstanding. The following morning I had a cooked breakfast at the hotel (it was alright, but I think it was the least amazing part of the package), then spent a couple of hours in the pool / spa area. There was a sauna, steam room, two jacuzzis, and a splash pool for children, arranged around a main pool for adults. There was also a patio with sun loungers which was nice to dry off in afterwards. I look forward to my next visit!

Last night I have booked room, everything was ok, but problem started when I gave my food to put in the fridge. My partner is vegetarian and I am eating non vegetarian, so 2 containers were separate for food. In morning I have requested receptionist to warm the food If possible, she was kind and humble said its fine I will do it for you. I have collected my food and checked out. After One hour, we were having food, my partner is spiritually vegetarian we don’t know the food was mixed up while heating . My partner already had 2 spoonfuls of the food with Chicken, which she never had in her life. They broke my religion spirituality. I have called in hotel and spoke to the receptionist she apologised for the food and said she will pass to the manager and get back to me. Manager gave me call after few minutes, he said I can only apologise, I can compensate 5£ for the food. The way he was talking it was really rude. I have never had this kind of rude experience in my life. He said he was helping out to warming up food, but he can also help by saying no, at-least my partner can have vegetarian food. Manager was talking in disgusting way. I can never suggest to anyone to go this hotel for stay.

Nice golfing resort hotel with really friendly and helpful staff. The drive in was a bit dicey at times with single track roads the locals go tearing down. Negative points, phone signal in the hotel is awful and my room no. 9 had no wifi access either. The golfers park on the hotel car park, despite signs telling them not to, so be aware. That said the rooms are large, clean and the bed was comfortable. The food was really good with massive portions. Overall a nice place to stay.
