First time I’ve taken the family to this pool in a long time. I remember it being pretty good BUT not on this occasion! In simple terms it’s poor value for money and I’m almost ashamed that this is in our city. It’s clearly being run on a ‘shoestring’ budget and looks run down. The changing rooms are ok but you need a padlock to store your gear or pay for one. The showers were not the cleanest but again, ok. The play pool was the most disappointing. The first thing that hits you is the high chlorine smell, it’s literally eye stinging. The whirl pool is broken and according to staff has been for sometime, the flumes were not in use because apparently they did not have enough staff, although there seemed to be enough for them to stand together talking. Areas of the waterline were grubby and clearly had not been cleaned properly in a while and where the hot tub is near the bridge used to be is full of rubbish, literally rubbish! The whole ceiling requires refurbishment. Yes the coffee shop is decent but really is not what people go there for. £8.50 per adult is a joke tbh and I will not be back. I suggest the owners be it the council or otherwise need to get it sorted or close it!

Perfectly nice enough. Brought kids here for Wet & Whacky session in the lagoon pool. Perhaps better suited to younger children as the whole pool is shallow and there’s no access to the main pool without booking a separate session. Three slides, two spray things and plenty of inflatables and things to use. Changing rooms need padlocks. Locks for the changing cubicles don’t work. So far as public swimming pools go, I don’t think it was particularly dirty. Certainly cleaner and less decrepit than Romsey rapids. Could smell the chlorine when walking in. Nice cafe area looking after the smaller lagoon pool. All staff friendly and helpful.

Staff lovely happy to help, changing rooms, lockers, showers not very clean, barely luke warm water in the shower, doors don’t lock, most of the locks broken. I have been there regularly 14-10 years ago it was much cleaner and cheaper.

It's a swimming pool at the end of the day. Would say though. I have noticed small black worms around the skirting of the steam room. I don't know what they are but I know their not supposed to be there. Needs to be cleaned thoroughly. Along with this the lane swimming pool itself. Feels under chlorinated as it is salty instead of your traditional pool smell. I have also noticed a lot of dirt and debris at the bottom of the pool whilst swimming, so questions should be raised about how often the pool is cleaned. I'm no expert in swimming pool maintenance, this is just observations I have made since going there. I do hope these factors can be improved on.
