Gamekeepers Lodge

The Lake of Menteith lies within reach for walking or boating, and the Trossachs hills rise beyond it—all visible from the decking at Gamekeepers Lodge. Mondhui Farm sits at the heart of this landscape, which has been inhabited since prehistoric times. The lodge itself occupies a hillside position, built from Siberian larch with oak finishing, giving it the character of a proper retreat without sacrificing comfort or finish.

Inside is a single bedroom with a king-size four-poster bed, a shower room, and an open-plan living space with a woodburner. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, washing machine—and the living area has a smart TV and doors opening onto decking. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included. The enclosed garden comes with a gas BBQ and furniture, and there is private parking for two cars. One well-behaved dog is welcome, with extras provided.

This is a whole property to yourself, sleeping two. It suits couples or anyone seeking a base for exploring the national park without the distraction of shared facilities or neighbours' comings and goings. No smoking indoors.
