The Bield

The Bield is a Victorian sandstone house in Aberfoyle, at the edge of Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park. Until 2021 it operated as a guest house; the same family continues to run it as a holiday let. Seven bedrooms across two floors accommodate up to 14 guests, with six bathrooms—four of them ensuite. Five bedrooms have kingsize or double beds; two share a shower room and separate toilet. The ground floor is on one level from the entrance.

Two sitting rooms, both with open fires and Smart TVs, are separated by the kitchen, which has a full range of appliances and overlooks the garden. Essentials including electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are covered; initial fuel for the fires is provided. A utility room holds a washing machine and tumble dryer. The enclosed garden has furniture and a BBQ; a private hot tub seats six. Parking is available for six cars, with a bike store for exploring the surrounding area. The village of Aberfoyle has a Co-op on Main Street for supplies.

This is a family home rented whole to one group; no smoking is permitted. It suits multi-generational gatherings, groups of friends or extended family holidays who want space, comfort and room to spread out.
