Middleton Hall works well for families or groups of up to six wanting a proper base for exploring the Gower Peninsula's beaches and coast path. The house is a detached farmhouse with three bedrooms—two doubles and one twin—sharing a single bathroom. Downstairs there's a living room with a woodburner, and a kitchen/dining room with an electric Aga, dishwasher and washing machine. One dog stays free, and you have the run of the whole property to yourself, plus private parking for three cars and an enclosed garden with patio and barbecue.
Essentials like electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are covered. The woodburner logs are included to get you started. A cot, highchair and stairgate are available if you need them. The enclosed garden has level access via patio and alternative ground-level entry, though there are three steps elsewhere in the garden. No smoking indoors.
A beach lies roughly a mile away. The local pub and restaurant are a quarter-mile walk, and Worm's Head—a tidal headland on the Wales Coastal Path—is nearby for cliff walks and seal-spotting. Llangenith, Fall Bay and Three Cliffs Bay are all within easy reach. After days spent surfing, walking or exploring, you're back in time to light the barbecue and watch the sun set over the sea.
