Campanile Swindon

Great hotel in a heat location. Only downside was one of the cups had some residual yellow water in it. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars.

Rooms are clean newly refurbished staff were friendly,helpful in the afternoon,evening shifts,hotel overall is looking great,don't buy food at the restaurant had a burger,chips low in price wasn't cooked fresh just reheated in a microwave nasty,would of payed more for better quality sausage that was served at breakfast scrambled eggs only no fried,English breakfast waste of time,hot drinks only fill up half a cup,continental limited only a bowl of fruit to pour on to yogurt no melon,no cold cuts meat,would of been better to walk to mcdonalds across the road,when leaving late morning didn't get noticed or other customers as the manager,houskeeping,receptionists were more interested in talking about there personal lives hugs,chatting,on the floor not off the floor away from customers not professional but hay this I guess is how staff,companies work these days...the icing on the cake morning receptionist he was soo focused on his work at the reception desk kept his head down pretended not to notice customers Friday morning.security has improved alot especially In the evening the main doors close only open when you press the buzzer to be let in.the evening,night staff were as always brilliant even when there buzy prepping that for the next day,the morning staff not so much.

Nothing special, just what appears to be poorly 'refurbished' student accommodation. A lot of work and a massive revamp is needed to resemble a TL property! The bed was reasonably comfortable. Bath didn't have a working plug. Breakfast was luke warm at best. Had I been aware of the new TL up the road, I would without question have booked to stay there!

Started to book a room and the price was £30, but showed single occupancy. Went back to change to double occupancy and the price changed to £55. Booked at this price, two minutes later got an email inviting me to book at £30. Unfortunately I had chosen a non refundable booking. Arrived and explained. Nothing they could do. Room had a TV with many channels not working. TV remote would not give channel guide. Sink was plumbed the wrong way round when choosing cold water, hot came out. Sink took 5 minutes to drain. Shower hose leaked so badly that more water leaked than came out of the shower head. When problems identified to staff, the response was that it was due to be refurbished.
