About Tyn Y Cornel Hotel
Tyn Y Cornel Hotel has the look and feel of an old country inn, built for a quieter age and set among the mountains of Gwynedd at Tal-y-llyn. It's a low, solid building with the kind of character that comes from years of welcoming walkers and anglers off the surrounding hills, and its garden and outdoor seating make the most of the mountain views on offer.
Rooms are en-suite and include family options, with drinks available in room and room service on hand. Guests get free WiFi throughout, and breakfast is served alongside a restaurant and bar for evening meals, with packed lunches and kids' meals also available for those heading out for the day. Meeting rooms are available too, useful for groups combining business with the setting.
The location suits fishing, cycling and walking, with routes leading straight out from the grounds, and the Vale of Rheidol Railway nearby adds a point of interest for a day trip. Machynlleth is roughly ten miles away for a change of scene. Free on-site parking and an electric vehicle charge point are provided, and reception is staffed around the clock.
