About Starfish Rooms
Tarbert is a small fishing town on the Argyll and Bute coast, built around a working harbour and a scatter of pubs, restaurants and shops that make it an easy base for exploring the area. Starfish Rooms sits on Castle Street, close to the harbour and within walking distance of the town's attractions, offering straightforward guest accommodation for those visiting on holiday or passing through.
Rooms are en-suite and come with drinks provided, along with free WiFi throughout the building. The property runs a 24 hour reception, so arrival times are flexible, and luggage storage is available for guests wanting to explore before or after their room is ready. Pets are welcome, and free parking can be found nearby, useful given the town's compact streets.
Beyond the door, guests are within reach of pubs, restaurants and eateries, as well as golf and fishing for those wanting to fill their days actively. Entertainment nearby rounds out the options for evenings in Tarbert. It is a simple, well-placed spot for seeing this part of the Argyll coast without needing a car for everything.

Great value for money at these cosy rooms. The host was very welcoming and helpful. We were on a bike trip, and he ensured we had a secure space to store our bikes. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the shower was nice and hot! Would highly recommend for cyclists looking for a place for the night.
