This is an excellent b and b. I had a great view from my room ( the manager did point out that no other room had this view). Breakfast was fabulous and I found the owners advice re local restaurants very helpful. I was able to store my bike within the grounds safely.

Wasnt great for me as I had been working all day. The room I had was small and outside the town centre which driving a truck was less than ideal. The owner had dogs which I have an allergy to but was more than happy to cancel the booking but as I arrived late I had no desire to look elsewhere. For other travelers I’d imagine it would be nice enough as had a good view out front.

We have been lucky enough to have just conquered the last available room as the host experienced a short notice cancellation. Andrew is a very likeable guy and great host who obviously knows about the area, which is great if you are open to any suggestions. Other than that, we enjoyed the comfortable room and the wonderful breakfast Andrew provided us with.

One of the best B&Bs I’ve ever visited. Comfortable spacious rooms. A good hefty breakfast. And all for a very reasonable price. Not to mention that Andrew is a very nice host. Even five years after, it’s one the more memorable lodges we’ve stayed at.
