About Yallands Farmhouse
Yallands Farmhouse began life as a working farmhouse, and its stone barn and orchard still give the grounds a rural, lived-in character even though it now operates as a compact seven-room B&B in Taunton, Somerset. The scale is small and the setting quiet, with the original buildings adapted rather than replaced, so the sense of place comes through more than in a purpose-built hotel.
Rooms are simple and comfortable rather than lavish, with drinks available in-room and breakfast included to start the day. Guests have use of a restaurant and bar, a gym, spa and sauna, and an indoor swimming pool, which is a fuller set of facilities than the modest room style might suggest. There's also a garden to sit out in, a lift for easier access, laundry service, and meeting rooms and wedding facilities for those hosting an event.
Free on-site parking and free WiFi are provided throughout, making it a straightforward base for exploring Taunton and the surrounding Somerset countryside. It suits guests after a quiet, countryside stay with proper facilities on hand rather than a grand or boutique experience.

A wonderful greeting from Karen, and a lot of patience as I encountered a credit card issue, Chris appeared and both were very patient. I was welcomed to work on my laptop in the dining room with a lovely cold zero beer. My room was huge with a lovely big comfy clean bed and large power shower, all of the nooks and cranny’s and silicone were clean and fresh. The heating was superb in the room . The location was silent at night also. Overall I felt at home and cosy. Breakfast was good but could be even better if they were to uplift to a butchers sausage and include black pudding and a hash brown, just my observation. The homemade marmalade was incredible and the coffee and juices etc and toast was plentiful including yogurts. The parking was perfect and location super for my job. Thanks all. See you soon.

Truly the best bed and breakfast I have ever stayed in. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, responsive to questions and requests, and the breakfast was great. The room was very comfortable and the garden, which you can walk around in, was beautiful. I have stayed here a couple of times, and will definitely be staying here again. I cannot recommend this place enough.

We only stayed one night at Yallands Farmhouse and it was lovely. The hosts were very welcoming, the room was nice with a comfortable bed, Internet worked well and breakfast was delicious. Considering that the farmhouse is now in the middle of a housing development, it was very quiet and it felt like we were in the country.
