About The Babbacombe Hotel
Breakfast at The Babbacombe Hotel is a proper spread, with a self-service English buffet offering plenty of choice to set guests up for the day. The restaurant and bar carry that same emphasis on food through the evening, with a varied menu and entertainment laid on for those who want to stay in rather than head out.
Rooms are comfortable and en-suite, with notably powerful showers, though the fittings and decor in parts of the hotel show their age rather than feeling freshly refurbished. Staff are consistently attentive and helpful, and a 24-hour reception means arrivals and queries are covered at any time.
The hotel sits on Babbacombe Downs Road in Torquay, Devon, within easy reach of Babbacombe Model Village, and close to pubs, restaurants and eateries nearby. Golf, fishing and watersports are all available in the surrounding area, giving guests plenty to fill the day before returning for dinner and the evening's entertainment.
