Lodge 18
Torridge
Lodge 18 is a detached property in Torridge that comes ready for self-catering. The kitchen has an electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer, so you can prepare meals at any scale. Two bathrooms means mornings run smoothly: one ensuite off the main bedroom, one separate with a bath. Bed linen and towels are provided, and heating is electric throughout.
The layout spreads across one floor with an open-plan living and dining area. Bedroom one has a double bed; bedroom two has two singles. There's a sitting-out area with garden furniture on the patio and decking that wraps around two sides. The property grounds include a fenced lake and two steps. Parking for one car is on site. No smoking indoors.
The location suits families and walkers in equal measure. Woodland and coastal walks start nearby, and beaches are within reach for swimming or exploring hidden coves. The Big Sheep and The Milky Way Adventure Parks are local, as are National Trust properties, The Eden Project, and the RHS Gardens at Rosemoor. For supplies, a shop is six miles away; a pub or restaurant is two and a half miles distant.
