Lodge 59

Lodge 59 is a detached building on ground level with everything on one floor, including three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a combined living and dining space that opens onto a decked area with garden furniture. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering, with an electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave and full-size fridge and freezer. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included; heating is electric central. One dog can stay free of charge and must be kept on a lead.

The lodge sits within Hartland Forest Lodges, a park-based setting with fishing lakes on site (free to use with your own licence and rods). There is a fenced lake 100 yards away. Parking is provided for two cars. The location is roughly 4 miles from Clovelly, a few miles north of the Devon coast, putting you within reach of several beaches—Westward Ho!, Saunton Sands, Woolacombe and Croyde Bay are all accessible for swimming or surfing. The Tarka Trail passes nearby for cycling and walking. Bideford, Bude and the coastal paths around Hartland Point are also close by. Families may find The Big Sheep and The Milky Way Adventure Park convenient. No smoking inside.
