What visitors say
Lovely walk around the park with the dogs. My sisters dog loves running around so was perfect for her. We got to the lido and chatted to a lovely lady who works there, who greeted the dogs and gave me great info on the lido.i was heading to the cafe, used the toilets, very clean. Nearing the cafe and play area, I called to put her on the lead, and got told by a warden they should be put on leads near the areas marked and she should fine me! She could hear and see i was! I honestly thought the play area would have been enclosed as many are in parks, that warden spoiled my experience of the park. Its a beautiful park, with lots to see. Just make sure if you have a lively dog put them on a lead near certain areas before nearing them, otherwise you will get treated like a criminal or fined and your day and visit will be ruined.

The park is pretty and spacious but I am going to stop walking my dog here due to the amount of food/litter thrown on the floor that is harmful to dogs. This has been a pretty regular occurence sonce I started walking my dog here. People's inability to clean up after themselves ruins the experience for everyone else. Though there are plenty of bins in the park I feel more should be done to ensure it is kept clean and littering is monitored more carefully. (Writing this after someone just chucked a box of maltesers on the floor in the park which my dog managed to get a mouthful of).
