I absolutely loved this experience! My partner and I ended up in London unexpectedly after a cancelled flight and needed something fun that wasn't going to take up our whole day and this was perfect. We were a bit apprehensive because it's such a kid friendly activity but the staff were very kind and welcoming to us and stayed in character with us even if there weren't kids near us which we loved! We booked our tickets the night before going and chose the anytime ticket which worked well for us with our time restraints, we got inside very quickly and got to see some beautiful graphics and scenes. We got photos taken Infront of a grey screen (the professional photos that are bought at the end of the trip) before our tour but I wish we'd seen the scene we were posing infront of before we got our photo taken. No photography is allowed on the tour and I quite enjoyed that because it meant I could fully enjoy the tour rather than getting photos or videos of different things. We start the tour by going on a 4D bus journey, going through the woods - the poisoned apple - a mirror maze and a bakery all to collect ingredients to get ourselves home, meeting new characters along the way. As a lover of Shrek and quirky days out, this was a 10/10 and I would recommend it to everyone, whether you're a solo traveller or a family. We purchased a souvenir adventure book for our professional photos and it's amazing! I didn't realise how much was in it until I got home, it includes fun activities, recipes, games and puzzles! The shop was nice to walk through after our tour, many many shelves of teddy characters, a few different key ring options, stationary and some clothing available to buy too.

Fantastic and surprisingly immersive experience. At first, I thought it would mainly be a dramatic attraction just for kids, but once the 5D Bus ride started, the experience reached a whole new level. From that point on, it became exciting, interactive, and highly entertaining for everyone. “The Wheel of Torture” was definitely the climax of the adventure and an outstanding moment. The unexpected entry of Shrek made it even more thrilling and memorable, bringing a lot of excitement to the audience. All the artists performed really well and stayed in character throughout. A special mention goes to the artist who played the Sleeping Beauty girl — wow! Her performance was 100% professional, energetic, and truly impressive. She stood out and added so much charm to the experience.

Lots of cool small details to notice in each leg. As a solo adult going through I enjoyed myself. A lot of reviews state the not being able to take photos during as a negative, but one of the mums in the group I ended up in said that now she actually gets to enjoy it because she's not on photo duty. I loved that perspective! There are plenty of things prior to the tour and after to provide photo opportunities. There are also photos you can buy in a little album that acts like a scrapbook of your adventure to Far Far Away. The character actors were really great, providing opportunities for adults and children to both participate in the story. The attention to detail on every level is really fun. There's even recordings that play on the toilets including Puss in Boots asking where the litter boxes are and why there are so many drinking fountains. Really, just a charming experience all around. The only thing that would make this a 5-star in my book is if it weren't so expensive for both ticket and souvenirs. I don't mind paying extra for the licensing and the obviously huge amount of work that went into putting this all together, but I should be spending nearly £100 for a single ticket, character ears and a t-shirt. That said, it is a unique experience and if finances are unlimited, then this could be a great way to break up all of the walking and historical attractions.

The Shrek Experience was so much fun! The kids had an amazing time, and honestly, so did I. I’m a big Shrek fan, so I really enjoyed all the interactive shows, characters, and the overall experience. The cast did a great job keeping everyone entertained, and it was fun for both kids and adults. Definitely worth visiting if you’re in London!
