Cherry Pip

Cherry Pip is a timber-clad cottage on the Nutley Edge estate, a private 11-acre setting near Nutley. You arrive into a split-level home: downstairs holds the living and dining space, kitchen, and bathroom; upstairs are two bedrooms—one double, one twin—arranged to give a sense of separation between sleeping and living quarters. The focal point is the raised decked area, which opens directly from the ground floor and frames views across the surrounding countryside.

The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking with electric oven and hob, fridge, washing machine and tumble dryer. Bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included in the rental. An enclosed garden surrounds the property, and there is parking on site with unloading at the door. One dog is welcome and should be kept on a lead.

The estate comprises traditional and accessible cottages set within ancient woodland and open land. Spring brings lambs; year-round there is a stream and paths to explore. The location works as a base for the wider Sussex countryside, or simply as a retreat for four people wanting privacy within a rural setting. No smoking inside.
