Chestnut Cottage

Chestnut Cottage is a timber-clad cottage within the Nutley Edge estate, a private community of twelve properties set across eleven acres of countryside. The cottage sleeps four across two bedrooms, each with zip-and-link beds that can be split into singles. Downstairs there is a living room with Freeview TV and DVD player, a separate dining room, and a kitchen with electric oven and induction hob where you can prepare meals. A walk-in wet room completes the ground floor. One dog is welcome to stay.

The estate backs onto woodland and a stream, with a small play area for children and communal seating areas dotted across the grounds. On-site parking is available, and wi-fi keeps you connected if needed. Bed linen and towels are provided, along with electricity. The cottage itself is non-smoking. Nutley village has restaurants and shops nearby, with supermarkets a fifteen-minute drive away in Uckfield. Ashdown Forest is on the doorstep for walks and cycling, while Bewl Water and Tunbridge Wells offer further day-trip options. Sheffield Park and Garden and Scotney Castle are also within reach for a quieter afternoon out.
