A converted agricultural building, Stowford Linhay is a compact single-storey property in rural West Devon. Everything happens on one level: an open-plan living area with a kitchenette that has an electric oven, hob and microwave; a separate dining space; a bedroom with a double bed; and a bathroom with bath and shower. Bed linen, towels and wifi are included, and there is on-site parking.
The property sits on its own with an enclosed south-facing garden and patio, where you can eat outside or light a barbecue. Beyond the garden gate lies a shared 4.5-acre field—useful for exercising a dog without a lead. The hamlet location is quiet; a village shop and pubs are within two miles. Walking is close at hand on Dartmoor and around Lydford Gorge. Roadford Lake, three miles away, has fishing and water sports. The Devon and Cornwall coast is reachable for a day trip, as is the Eden Project. Dogs are welcome; smoking is not permitted.
