Brockhole Visitor Centre sits just over half a mile away, where you can hire boats, try the treetop adventure courses, play mini golf, or visit the art galleries. Windermere and Ambleside are both within reach for restaurants, shops and lakeside walks. The lodge itself occupies ground level at White Cross Bay, a holiday resort with an indoor heated pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room all available to guests.

The interior holds two bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bedroom has a double bed with an en-suite shower; the other contains twin beds and connects to a second shower room off the hallway. The open-plan living and dining space opens onto a private deck facing the lake, furnished for outdoor meals. The kitchen is fitted for self-catering, with a gas oven and hob, dishwasher, and all the basics. Wi-Fi, electricity, heating, bed linen and towels are included. There is parking for one car on site. The property is non-smoking and sleeps four.
