Apple Tree Cottage
Westmorland and Furness
View on Google MapsApple Tree Cottage is a detached Lakeland stone property where you enter into a full-width ground floor with everything spread out for easy living. The sitting room has a smart TV; the kitchen/dining space comes equipped for cooking proper meals, with an electric cooker, dishwasher and fridge; a utility room handles laundry; and there's a conservatory for quieter moments. A separate toilet downstairs means no queuing on busy mornings. Upstairs are three bedrooms—a double with its own ensuite shower, another double, and a twin—plus a family bathroom with a bath and shower. The cottage sleeps six and comes with cot and highchair if needed.
The property sits in Threlkeld village at the foot of Blencathra, with views from both front and rear. You can walk or cycle straight out onto the fells and the C2C cycle route; Keswick is 4 miles away via the old railway line or frequent buses. Two pubs in the village serve food within easy reach. On the practical side, you get three parking spaces, a bike store, oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi. The garden has a patio, furniture and barbecue. There's a play area opposite. One dog is welcome; smoking is not.
