Bede’s Cottage

The village centre is on your doorstep at Bede's Cottage, putting shops, restaurants and local transport within immediate reach. A pub sits less than a mile away, and the surrounding area makes a solid base for exploring the wider region. The cottage itself is built from Lakeland stone and has retained period character throughout, though the kitchen and bathrooms are modern. Three bedrooms sleep five: a double and single on the first floor, plus a zip-and-link room on the second. There is one bathroom upstairs and a separate toilet on the top floor.

Cooking is properly equipped with two ovens, a hob, dishwasher and microwave. A washing machine and tumble dryer are on the ground floor for longer stays. The living room has a TV and open fire for cooler evenings. A games room on the second floor has a TV and various consoles if you're travelling with children. Wi-Fi is available throughout the house. Bed linen, towels and heating are included; parking is available at a nearby car park a quarter of a mile away. The property does not permit smoking.
