Windermere fills with visitors year-round, drawn by the lake and the hills beyond. Nu Holme sits on a quiet street in the town centre, close enough to reach everything on foot yet removed from the main bustle. The cottage has been refurbished and updated by its owners, offering self-catering space for four across two storeys: a living room and kitchen on the ground floor, a second sitting room upstairs, two bedrooms and a bathroom. One bedroom has a double bed, the other two singles. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included; the kitchen is fully equipped if you want to cook, though takeaways and restaurants are all within walking distance.

Parking permits come with the booking—one for on-street parking nearby, another for council car parks in Windermere and surrounding towns. Public transport is well-served from the railway and bus stations, both close by, so a car is not essential. A park lies five minutes' walk away where dogs can be off the lead. No smoking inside. Children and one pet are welcome. The nearest supermarket is less than a minute's walk, and all local shops, cafes and bars are nearby.
