Littlecroft

Littlecroft suits couples, families with young children, or two couples looking for a central base. The cottage sits on level ground in the heart of Windermere, within walking distance of the train station, bus routes, restaurants, bars and independent shops. Parking permits are included, though a car is not essential if you're using public transport to explore the Lakes.

The property has two bedrooms—a king on the first floor and a double on the ground floor—sharing one shower room. Downstairs there's a living room with a sofa bed (flexible sleeping only) and a separate entertaining space with a wood burner, DVD player and DAB radio. The kitchen comes equipped for cooking properly, with a gas cooker, range, dishwasher and washer-dryer. Essentials including electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are covered in the rental. A highchair is available for younger guests.

Outside, a fenced rear garden with seating looks onto stone outbuildings used for bike and gear storage. The cottage does not permit smoking. One well-behaved pet is welcome.
